Mile 1470: hot pipes are hot.
Before leaving the Ramble, I threw my jacket over the seat to unload my saddlebags. And the pipes melted my jacket! Tent repair kit to the rescue, but I’m not sure that looks any better than the melted hole. Better than if it had been my skin, right?
