The Thin Man (add photos)

At The Thin Man. There were several stories about the name. Based on the book? They do have a copy on the shelf. Based on the movies? The bartender (wish I would have got his name) said he has the movie on VHS (there’s a TV in the basement but he hopes it never gets up to the bar. Me too, even though it would be cool to have the Thin Man movies playing in the background).

Also in the mix, maybe apocryphal: the owner wanted to create the narrowest bar in Denver and he did that, at least for the time. Later he wanted to put in booths and when he was measuring he found out it was “too thin, man.”
